Funding Request (Special Event Grant)

If your funding has run out or you just need some assistance getting your society's event off the ground, SMUSA allows $500 loans to societies who need them. Please submit to SMUSA's VP Finance 2 weeks prior to the deadline.

Society, have read and understood all of the terms and conditions as stated in the Society Handbook and agree to abide by them. I further understand that if I am granted a Special Event Grant that I must submit a one page post-event summary detailing the success of the event no later than two (2) weeks following the event. Lastly I agree to return any surplus funds not used for the purposed stated in the application to the Students’ Association.

Please be prepared to attend a Society Committee meeting for 3 to 5 minutes to answer any questions the Students’ Association may have about your loan request.
