Tyler is a 2nd year commerce student, majoring in accounting. He’s from Pictou County Nova Scotia, about a 2-hour drive away.
Tyler brings a background in both advocacy and impact, from local communities to national policy. From developing a fee structure on the Board of Directors of a local track facility, to communications with the Prime Minister while developing the National School Food Policy; he’s no stranger to representing student and community interests.
Currently, Tyler helps manage Square Roots, a social enterprise saving Nova Scotians $250,000 each year. He’s excited to bring his impact focused, advocacy driven background to SMUSA’s Board of Directors.
