This event will be held completely in person this year with additional online streaming available. The Board of Directors forum will have a guest speaker (details to be announced at a later date) followed by questions raised to all potential Board of Director candidates. This event will help allow the students to learn about each candidate’s platform and choose their representation wisely. 

Our 2023 Board of Directors Forum guest speaker is Bryan Rice! Bryan Rice is a Saint Mary's University Alumni. He is now a successful owner of Terra Nova Fine Art Incorporated and Terra Nova Construction. During his time at Saint Mary's University, he served on the Board of Directors and as the Chairman & Chief Governance Officer of SMUSA. He additionally stepped in to perform additional responsibilities such as the overall operations of SMUSA, revisiting the MOU process between SMU and SMUSA and passing the 2016/2017 budget. He received the Platinum "M", the highest award ever granted by SMUSA. This award is granted to an individual who has contributed outstanding contributions to students of Saint Mary's University. In 2017, Bryan was one of three individuals who received this award since SMUSA was incorporated in 1966.
