Location: Scotiabank Theatre, Sobey School of Business

This event will be held completely in person this year with additional online streaming available. The Presidential Debate will have a guest speaker (details to be announced at a later date) followed by a debate and question/answer session posed towards the presidential candidates. This event will help allow the students to learn about each candidate’s platform and choose their representation wisely.

Our special guest speaker is Minister Susan Corkum-Greek! Minister of economic development. The Honourable Susan Corkum-Greek was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Lunenburg in 2021. She serves as the Minister of Economic Development, along with sitting on the Treasury and Policy Board. She has experience in the Chamber of Commerce movement and is a founding member of the Lunenburg Waterfront Association, that was formed to protect and revitalize the seaport's working waterfront.
