SMU COMMUNITY FOOD ROOM
Our food room.
Hunger can be a big problem in the university community. That’s why SMUSA has been partnering with Student Affairs & Services to operate the SMU Community Food Room: a student-volunteer driven, on-campus food bank that welcomes all members of the Saint Mary’s University community. If you need long term assistance or just a little food to help until your funding arrives, we are here to help! Our goal is to be able to offer access to safe, nutritious, and acceptable food options in a welcoming environment.

The SMU Community Food Room hours are based on volunteer availability and vary from week to week. Our updated hours can be found on our Facebook page.
-
The SMU Community Food Room is located on the 5th floor of the O’Donnell Hennessey Student Centre, to the left as you come off the elevators, and at the end of the narrow hall (SC526).
