ABOUT OUR BAR
Established in 1974, The Gorsebrook Lounge is the official campus pub of Saint Mary’s University. The Gorsebrook is a consistent finalist of The Coast’s Best of Halifax for “Best Student Hang” and “Best Campus Eats”, and is the focal point of the social scene on campus. And with the addition of our brand new patio, the Gorsebrook is the perfect place to have lunch, study, hold meetings, or even catch up with friends!
Join us for one of our event nights, including our popular Wing Night Wednesdays throughout the academic year, or catch any SMU Huskies Football home games, live at the Gorsebrook!

The Gorsebrook is located on the 1st floor of the O’Donnell Hennessey Student Centre, near the north end of Huskies Stadium.

PRIVATE BOOKINGS
The Gorsebrook is open to private bookings! With a capacity of over 325, a full-service bar, and a state-of-the-art audio/visual set-up, we’re the perfect location for everything from fundraisers to business meetings and wedding receptions to birthday parties. Both small and large groups can be accommodated!
