Kayracan Karci

I am Kayracan but you can call me Kai for short. I am currently in my second year at Saint Mary's University. My major is economics, and I do French for my minor. From the moment I started learning it, French has been a passion to me. I attended French conversation clubs offered by Alliance Française and by Saint Mary's faculty members. After improving my French, I decided to apply to an exchange program thanks to which I had the opportunity to spend three months in Angers, France. During my stay, I paid attention to interacting with French people as much as possible to immerse myself in the language and culture. In the end, I took an exam called TCF-TP that measures your proficiency level in French.

According to the results, I am upper-intermediate and lower-advanced since my scores range from B2 to C2 in different categories. Ever since I was a child, I have been learning languages. I am familiar with the fact that it can be challenging to understand certain concepts. However, with some time, we figure them out. So, I believe there is nothing to be afraid of. Our classes will be tailored by your needs and wants. And, of course, they will be as entertaining as possible. My aim is to provide a space where you can make mistakes and learn from them.
