Lara Lanto

Hi! I’m Lara Lanto and I am a fourth-year Accounting Major. I’ve previously completed a Diploma in Business Administration with a specialty in Accounting from BC, and finishing my bachelor’s degree at SMU. Over the past three summers from 2022, I’ve worked at both federal and provincial government in various accounting roles (Audit, Analyst and Financial Reporting) to which I can apply into practical knowledge beneficial in our classes at SMU.

 I’ve previously taught friends and family in various fields, whether it’s academics or technical skills related to Accounting. Additionally, I was also a Teaching Assistant for Operations Management (MGSC 2217) last Winter 2024.
