Hi, I’m Anecia Shepherd, a student who believes that real change starts with being heard. I am a second-year student from the Caribbean, majoring in Philosophy and triple minoring in English, Creative writing, and Political Science. I’m running for Board of Directors to serve as a bridge between students and leadership by listening first, bringing forward real concerns, and advocating for better academic support, affordability, stronger student societies, and more opportunities beyond academics. I

am a student ambassador at school; I welcome new students and represent our university at various events like open houses. However, my ideas for change and support spread further than those of new students. I want all students to feel heard, represented and supported.
